PLEASE NOTE:

For persons that have an immediate need for housing or shelter, the Medford Housing Authority unfortunately cannot meet those needs.  If you need shelter for tonight, please view the following website for a facility located near you.  http://www.homelessshelterdirectory.org/massachusetts.html.

The Medford Housing Authority does provide long term housing.

FEDERAL PUBLIC HOUSING:

At this time our Federal Public Housing Waiting Lists for Elderly/Disabled and Family Housing are closed effective November 15, 2018.    Please continue to consult this site as we will advise  when we are again able to accept applications for Federal Housing.

STATE PUBLIC HOUSING:

The State Public Housing waiting list is open and  you may apply online  at:

If you are unable to apply online  you may call 781-396-7200 and request an application be mailed to you, or you may print a paper copy at the link directly below, complete it and mail or drop it off : 121 Riverside Ave, Medford, MA 02155.

HCV Centralized Waiting List Application

Note the waiting lists for Medford Residents, can take up an indeterminate length of time in Public Housing and in the Housing Choice Voucher programs, and longer for non-Medford residents.   If you require more specific personally related information, you may call 781-396-7200 Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. – Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. – Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
